INDIAN TOUR GUIDE COVID RELIEF FUND

In the photo above, Indian drivers await the reopening of the Spiti road after an unexpected deluge destroyed it in 2019. The wait is reminiscent of our current situation - due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, the livelihoods of a wide range of tour guides and support staff have been completely disrupted. It has been eight months and as things get worse in India, it will certainly be longer before international tourism is up and running. I have started a gofundme campaign to help raise funds not just for our crew in India, but for the extended network of guides, drivers and support who make all kinds of tours possible. Let's help them support their families. I know times are tough for everyone right now, but anything you can contribute makes more of a difference than you can imagine.

MOTO TOUR UPDATES

Himalayan Moto Tours has cancelled all tours through 2020. Fixed dates are a moving target right now and I have perhaps been overly optimistic in scheduling spring tours, but we shall see. We will of course only resume operations once it is safe to do so. Please visit the HMT Home Page for tentative 2021 and 2022 tour dates.
